If you've wandered onto this site, it can only be for 2 reasons. Firstly, you have an affinity for the little car in the top left corner, or secondly, you clicked somewhere on the web and this came up in error... oh well, welcome either way.

If you do know something about this little car, you'll know that there are a few of us far and wide that'll go out of our way to own one. Only problem we face is the fact that most of us can only dream of owning the real thing. Dont get me wrong, i'm not saying we dont like the guys and gals who drive the real thing, i'd just prefer if it was standing in my own garage. Any way they come though, you have to love them.

A little bit of history..........

Who do we have to thank for it? Well, lets just say when you're not able to sell, you end up ranting at your boss about product issues. That's very true for this instance. Porsche weren't getting traction in the US, there was some serious competition out there and their cars were a tad pricey. Only thing to do....strip out the "nice to haves", cut off the roof and the rest is history. Well, not quite, but you get the just of it. Little did they know what they created would become an icon in motoring history. The creation of the Porsche 356 Speedster. A car destined for the Californian coastline of the late 50's, which can still be seen cruising the same highways today.
